Drain Clogs

If your drain clogs, you can usually clear the pipe with a standard plunger. Whether in your kitchen or bathroom sink or in your shower, simply press the plunger over the drain and pump up and down vigorously to dislodge the clog.

If you continue having problems, you may have a bigger clog that needs professional attention. You can prevent these problems in the future by installing drain traps.

Toilet Won't Flush?

Most toilet clogs can also be dislodged with a plunger. Be careful not to flush the toilet multiple times, however, as this could cause the basin to overflow.

Electric outages may occur from time to time, likely due to bad weather or felled lines. The easiest way to get help is to call your utility company for more information.

If you trip your circuit by overloading it, locate the breaker and make certain the switch is in the ON position.

If you don't have access to hot water, locate your tank and check that the settings are correct. If your tank has a pilot light, make certain that it hasn't gone out.

If you don't have heat or air conditioning in your property, locate your rental home's central thermostat. Check that the settings have not been changed accidentally.
